Orlando Magic Construction Manager Sponsors Electrical Training

Orlando, Fla. – Hunt Construction Group, the Orlando Magic’s Construction Manager for the community’s new Events Center, sponsored an electrical training course in coordination with “Education is Cool-Get One,” in which two adult students earned certificates of completion for entry level apprenticeships.
The complimentary 12-week course, held at The Dr. J.B. Callahan Neighborhood Center in the heart of the Parramore district, was taught by Willard Holmes Jr. a master electrical contractor and president of True Power Electric.
“It is a very rewarding day,” said Holmes, who instructed graduates Osvaldo Velez and Damon Hudson through the intensified course. “Hopefully somebody’s life moves in a new direction and they can have an option to make their lives better if they so choose, and that’s what it’s about.”
